《瑛達遖》是中國歌手朱婧汐於寫給奶奶的歌，作為主打收錄在 2014 年的創作專輯《以夢為馬》之中。中文歌名是音譯，準確的發音應該是 “Inng Da Nam”，這是朱婧汐爺爺小時候用的傣文名字，而這個名字很長時間裏只有奶奶一個人知道。透過這首歌曲，朱婧汐把奶奶對已過世爺爺的愛與眷戀譜成了歌曲，寄託她對相守一生之愛情的嚮往。

2014年夏，我們收到來自唱片製作人的委託，為她規劃專輯主打歌之音樂錄影帶與美術指導。


"Inng Da Nam" is the Chinese song written by singer Jing Zhu, which is dedicate to her grandmother. The song describes the story of a little girl looking for grandparents in the mystery fog.  In 2014, we were asked to direct the art style and production design for the album and music video.

作為專輯主打之一的抒情慢板，朱婧汐在初期的發想會議前就已表明，她不希望這首歌的MV流於男女雙主角的煽情劇碼。這個想法正合我們之意，因此美術團隊得以大刀闊斧的另闢蹊徑，以歌曲故事本身的地緣——也就是朱婧汐童年居住的雲南作為發想。

由於歌手朱婧汐出身雲南，若呼應歌曲以她的童年作為主題，最大的難題在於如何將歌詞中「蘭花」、「竹葉」、「芒果樹」等明確的景物轉化為意象；在初期發想會議中，我們也曾考慮直接赴雲南，於當地勘景拍攝，然若畫面過於寫實，又會與歌曲中所散發「雲霧飄渺」的距離美感相去太遠。

在初聽這首歌時，我們作了密集式的發想會議，導演腦中首先冒出的視覺是霧中小屋的迷離景象；幾次針對媒材的討論後，我們認為有必要保留歌曲的詩意所在，而若要呈現雲霧飄渺的意境，使用纖薄的白紙作為表現媒材無疑是最佳上選，我們便拍板決定以此串起雲南的山光美景，同時維持畫面的詩意與素淨。

At the initial meeting, Jing Zhu showed that she did not want the MV of this song to be too lyrical. That is exactly what we thought too. Therefore, the art team was able to make a bold alternative to the path of the singer's hometown, Yunnan.

In order to preserve the poetry of the song and present the misty mood, it is the best choice to take thin white paper as the material. We use origami to make a series of beautiful scenery in Yunnan and maintain the cleanliness and elegance of the picture.

為了呼應上述概念，我們依此設定了一條串聯起景與物、角色與風格的故事線，並透過紙藝的表現構成整支影片：

“一個小女孩迷失於林深之處，藉由鳥雀的指引找尋回家之路，回到家後卻無人迎接，她朝著親人的背影不斷狂奔追逐之後，才發現它們早已離開人世，而小女孩也透過追尋著親人的腳步，而找到自己的道路。”

Responding to the core concept, we have set up a story line to connected scenes, objects, characters and styles, composing the whole film through the performance of paper art.

初步故事腳本的提案順利通過後，下一步驟便是美術設計迅速運作的階段。為了營造影像的壯麗格局，我們購買了數量極為可觀的紙材，並開始一系列的紙藝測試實驗，並藉由組合不同的摺紙、剪紙技法，以突破對於紙雕想像的極限。

如使用巨大紙材不斷折疊所造成的連綿山巒、透過大量剪紙技術而成的村落、巨型紙雕塑成的波浪狀造景、拉長邊際垂墜而成的鐘乳洞窟、為呼應朱婧汐吹奏的葫蘆絲而使用層層堆疊的細絲紙幕構成森林等，分別以局部攝影的方式逐步確認最終拍攝出的影像。

In order to create a magnificent image, we purchased a very large amount of paper, and began a series of paper art tests, combined with different origami techniques, to break through the limits of paper sculpture.

Use huge and continuously folded paper to form mountains, the village through a large number of paper-cutting techniques, the waves of giant paper sculpture, the elongated stalactite caves, layers of stacked silk paper curtains to form a forest, etc.

由於這支動畫的主角必須持續跑步穿越許多不同的場景，團隊皆不希望使用電腦合成的效果，因此我們以真實人物拍攝行進循環(Walkcycle) 的方式，將小女孩演員置於漆成綠色的跑步機上，紀錄其行走與奔跑的輪廓，再配以刀模與雷切複合方式裁成無數剪影小紙人，一隻隻置放於場景中，以停格動畫逐張拍攝。 在動畫中小女孩曾途經森林與村落，未免場景過於單調，場景也皆使用逐漸裁剪、摺疊的方式逐格拍攝而成。

Since the protagonist of this film must continually run through many different scenes, the team does not want to use CG to synthesize the visual effects, so we put the little girl actress on the green painted treadmill, record the outline of her running, and then cut into a myriad of small paper people, placed in the scene one by one, shooting in stop motion to make it animated.

拍攝的收尾階段，有賴強大的美術團隊以短時間內海量的造景設計與製作，得以準時完成此影像製作，客戶與歌手都極為滿意，也在首映後造成熱烈迴響；並完成此為期一個月的藝術指導專案。

Thanks to the strong art team, the excellent landscaping design and production in a short time, the clients and artist are extremely love the final, and also caused a warm response after the premiere, and completed this one-month art direction project.
