Shih Chien University is a private university in Taiwan. Its professional performance and courses in design has been regarded in the '60 top D-schools in the world' by BusinessWeek. Its Master in Industrial Design program was selected into "the best 30 design programs" in the world by BusinessWeek in 2009. The common objective of these studio-based programs is to educate students to have professional, inter-disciplinary, and innovative capabilities. The college participates extensively in international and domestic design competitions, exhibitions, and education-industry cooperative projects.

實踐大學設計學院（College of Design, Shih Chien University），為隸屬實踐大學之下的學院，成立於1997年。目前有建築設計學系所、工業產品設計學系所、媒體傳達設計學系所、服裝設計學系所，共計四學系四研究所。實踐大學設計學院所期許的是，先從課堂和生活中學習，同時透過多元設計領域的訓練與陶養，成為「設計人」；乃至更進一步在知識和經驗上，不斷地提昇知識、經驗、視野並整合出新思維，成為「創意人」；學院亦致力於提供國內外設計開發、跨國產學合作機會與創新育成等服務，為有心於設計的學子建構一個應用設計專業於創作、研究與就業方面最佳的學習平台。
