2024 年底開幕的臺中勤美洲際酒店為台中高端旅宿的代表之一，餐飲服務也為在地美食提供更講究的選擇。而概念運動酒吧 「Rolling Bar」 位在酒店五樓，將保齡球主題結合餐飲服務，為台中的夜生活新增一處落點。走進 Rolling Bar 後，大家會立刻被位在正中央的保齡球道吸引目光。洲際酒店為此酒吧定調之品牌意象為「復古未來」，為呈現其故事，依此委託叁式團隊規劃牆面與天花板的動態視覺，於是我也隨專案藝術指導的委託，擔任美術設定。

為體現復古未來之主題，我們將動態牆面的表演主題聚焦於「太空」，並計算了客人的視角對球道遠景所產生的透視點，客人們若向球瓶處望去，會看見一個宛如位於球道終點的太空艙窗景；當保齡球被扔出之後，藉由動畫演出，保齡球宛如衝出球道、飛出窗戶後遠遊太空，歷經有如彈珠台射出太空之後的星際歷險，經歷宇宙盡頭後再回到保齡球機台的故事。個人希望大家在洗溝之餘，也可以收穫滿滿的情緒價值。

For Rolling Bar at Taichung Intercontinental, we created a “retro-futuristic” visual concept focused on space. By calculating the vanishing point of the bowling lane, the far end becomes a capsule window leading into an animated journey: bowling balls burst beyond the lane, fly into space, traverse stars and galaxies, and finally return to the machine. The design extends the game into a playful, cinematic experience, blending sport with narrative immersion. Since most folks end up in the gutter anyway, I wanted to make sure they still got a bit of fun out of it.
